The Ultimate Emerald Signature is the brightest star in the constellation of Harry Winston’s High Jewelry Timepieces collection. A masterpiece that references Mr. Winston’s beloved emerald cut for gemstones, the secret watch was originally drawn entirely in diamonds. In 2021, four new versions of the Ultimate Emerald Signature with blue sapphires and Paraíba color tourmalines join the series. The ultimate accessory for glamorous red carpet occasions, the versatile design means the timepieces can be worn around the wrist, around the neck as a pendant or even as a brooch.
The queen of the Ultimate Emerald Signature dynasty was unveiled in 2014. This dramatic high jewelry timepiece dazzles with almost 10 carats of the world’s finest diamonds. On its 18-karat white gold emerald-shaped case designed like a pyramid, the different tiers are either set with brilliant-cut or baguette-cut diamonds of increasing dimensions while a majestic 1-carat emerald-cut diamond crowns the summit.
Countering the powerful geometry of the emerald- cut case is an impressive halo of marquise-cut diamonds. Suspended around the octagonal case with the minimum amount of metal and angled in different directions to catch the light, the 24 marquise-cut diamonds add a dynamic sensation of movement.
The enchantment continues as the secret watch reveals its dial. By swiveling the upper part of the case, the dazzling full diamond pavé surface of the dial allows the wearer to consult the time with absolute discretion.
More than 100 hours were required to hand-set the stones in this exceptional creation, which is also one of the most versatile creations in the Harry Winston High Jewelry collection. The Ultimate Emerald Signature can be worn as timepiece on sleek satin or silk straps, as a pendant or necklace, or even as a brooch.
The Sapphire and Tourmaline models play with multiple tonalities of blue, from the neon- turquoise glow of tourmalines to the more intense saturation of dark blue sapphires and contrasting light blue sapphires. Like the all-diamond version, the 18-karat white gold case is surmounted by an impressive emerald-cut Paraíba color tourmaline or dark blue sapphire. The Blue Sapphire models come in either a diamond-set case or a case with a medley of diamonds and light blue and dark blue sapphires. The Tourmaline models follow suit and are available with a diamond-set case or alternating diamonds and tourmalines. Echoing the color scheme of the case, the Blue Sapphire models come with a colorful tapestry of diamonds and dark and light blue sapphires on the dial, while both Tourmaline models are blanketed with 98 brilliant-cut Paraíba color tourmalines.
