有东西欢庆：
2020年亚洲五十大餐馆因2019冠状病毒疫情，原本于日本佐贺县举行的颁奖礼，改为线上直播。新加坡的Odette蝉联冠军，香港的粤菜餐馆大班楼The Chairman 赢得亚军和东京的新派餐馆Den 赢得季军。这次的亚洲五十餐馆得奖者横跨10个国家的50间最优秀餐馆。

日本

Den（第3位）连续第三年荣获“日本最佳餐馆”称号。位于大阪的 La Cime（第10位）排名上升四个名次，备受赞誉的名厨高田裕介更由同行投票选出，获颁“Inedit Damm主厨之选奖”。首次入围的餐馆包括位于东京的 Ode（第35位）及 Inua（第49位）。日本厨师中更有荣获个人特别奖项的大厨。京都料亭名店菊乃井的传奇师傅村田吉弘成为“美国运通标志人物奖”得奖者，Ete 的庄司夏子则荣获由Valrhona赞助的“亚洲最佳糕点师奖”。

大中华

香港餐馆大班楼（第2位）勇夺由Cinco Jotas赞助的“中国最佳餐馆”称号。香港共有八间餐馆跻身名单，Amber（第31位）获颁2020年度由Beronia赞助的“亚洲可持续性餐馆奖”。此荣誉特别用以表扬以可持续性营业准则实行环境保育的餐馆，而评审标准则由独立审裁合作伙伴Food Made Good Global订立。江振诚大厨位于澳门永利皇宫的新餐馆厅川江月，以第23位耀眼成绩，成为2020年度由Legle赞助的“最佳新上榜餐馆”。Mume（第18位）连续第二年蝉联由The Dalmore赞助的“台湾最佳餐馆”称号，于2019年获得“Miele最值得关注奖”的JL Studio则名列第26位。

泰国

Suhring（第6位）首次夺得“泰国最佳餐馆”殊荣。获奖名单上共有七间泰国餐馆，当中包括以第47位成绩新上榜的餐馆80/20。曼谷餐馆Sorn今年飙升32名至第16位，荣获2020年度由奥思礼礼宾赞助的“最佳进步奖”。

新加坡

新加坡除了表现出众的Odette，由Björn Frantzén大厨主理的Zen于排行榜上名列第28位。始于1994年的Les Amis（第11位）今年更获得享负盛名的“Gin Mare待客艺术奖”。其他入榜2020年的“亚洲50最佳餐馆”名单上的新加坡餐馆是：Burnt Ends（第5位）、Jaan by Kirk Westaway（第21位）、Corner House（第42位）和 Nouri（第50位）。

韩国

2020年度名单上共有三间韩国餐馆，其中包括首次入围的韩食空间 Hansikgonggan（第34位），餐厅由荣获2020年度“亚洲最佳女厨师奖”的女厨师赵希淑主理。广受欢迎的Mingles（第14位）连续第五年获得“韩国最佳餐馆”的宝座。

其他地区奖项

位于科伦坡的Ministry of Crab（第30位）再次获得“斯里兰卡最佳餐馆”荣誉，而巴厘岛餐厅Locavore（第37位）则夺得“印尼最佳餐馆”的名衔。Indian Accent晋升四个名次至第13位，连续第六年获得“印度最佳餐馆奖”，Bukhara则重新上榜，名列第45位。印度获奖餐馆还包括荣获2020年度“Miele最值得关注奖”的孟买餐馆Masque。其他地区的优胜者包括Toyo Eatery（第44位），连续第二年荣获“菲律宾最佳餐馆” 称号。

Something to cheer:
The result of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2020 was livestreamed online, instead of taking place in Japan’s Saga prefecture. The on-site event was cancelled in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. Singapore’s Odette top the best Asia Restaurant list for the second year. Other winning restaurants including seven new entries and one re-entry, and taking in restaurants across 10 countries, the eighth edition of the list aims to support restaurants all over the continent in their recovery from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and recognise their achievements over the last 12 months.

Julien Royer, owner-chef of Odette which is crowned The Best Restaurant in Asia 2020, said, “The situation is very unpredictable and scary for all of us, but I would like to send a message of hope and togetherness. It’s important that we realise we’re all in the same boat: no matter the restaurant, the cuisine or where we are, it’s affecting us all. In Singapore, we are lucky to still be able to operate the restaurant for now. I see from my colleagues in Europe, the US and many places in the world, where they can’t keep their restaurants open, that they are fighting to find solutions, to keep going and not close their doors. It’s a difficult situation, but we must realise that we have to put all our efforts together to ultimately carry on doing what we love and doing our job. It will happen only if we’re all together.”
