全新罗马宝格丽酒店将选址奥古斯都大帝广场（Piazza Augusto Imperatore）的中心位置，拥有战略性地理优势。这里地处战神广场（ Campo Marzio）区的正中心，毗邻繁华的科尔索大道（Via del Corso）与巴布伊诺大道（Via del Babuino），罗马地标建筑西班牙台阶（Spanish Steps）和经典的宝格丽康多提大道旗舰店亦近在咫尺。
这栋理性主义风格建筑建于1936-1938年间，由建筑师Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo亲自操刀设计。它正面朝向阿拉帕西斯博物馆（Ara Pacis）和奥古斯都陵墓（Mausoleum of Augustus）两大罗马地标建筑。后者是罗马首位皇帝的陵墓，目前正在进行全面翻修，赭色石灰华大理石与烧制红砖等传统罗马材料与色彩的应用彰显了它经典不朽的现代建筑风格。这栋建筑颇具严谨的理性主义结构魅力，与Antonio Barrera创作于Frezza中庭的精美壁画实现了巧妙平衡。这些壁画从不同角度描绘了奥古斯都陵墓的恢宏壮美。建筑的南面以Ferruccio Ferrazzi创作的70平方米马赛克绘画装饰，诠释了他对罗马建城神话的独到见解。
与全球范围内其他宝格丽酒店相同，意大利建筑事务所Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel将负责全新罗马宝格丽酒店的外部修葺与室内设计。全新酒店将提供逾100间客房，其中大部分为套房，并设有宝格丽酒吧以及由米其林星级厨师Niko Romito主理的久负盛名的Il Ristorante餐厅。酒吧与餐厅均位于顶楼，在这里宾客可以饱览“永恒之城”罗马的恢宏景致。此外，宝格丽酒店还将提供一系列其他尊享设施，其中包括带室内泳池的高端水疗中心以及拥有先进健身器材、提供宝格丽专属Workshop健身体验的健身中心。

The new Roman Bvlgari hotel will be strategically located in the central Piazza Augusto Imperatore. This is at the very heart of the Campo Marzio neighborhood, a stone’s throw from Via del Corso and Via del Babuino, the iconic Spanish Steps and the signature Bvlgari flagship on Via Condotti.
The new Bvlgari Hotel Roma will occupy a magnificent building, owned by Edizione Properties, who was assisted by CBRE Hotels for the tenant selection activity.
The building was built between 1936 and 1938 to a design by architect Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo. The rationalist building faces two of the most iconic Roman landmarks — the Ara Pacis and the Mausoleum of Augustus, the first Roman Imperator, currently under renovation. It boasts monumental, modern architecture emphasized by the use of traditional Roman materials and colours, such as ochre Travertine marble and burnt red brick. The rigorous rationalist architectural appeal of the building is counterbalanced by Antonio Barrera’s frescos, running in the Via della Frezza atrium and offering different views of the Mausoleum of Augustus, while the Southern face is decorated with a 70-square-meter mosaic by Ferruccio Ferrazzi, who offered his personal interpretation of the Roman foundation myth.
As with the other Bvlgari Hotels around the world, Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel will be in charge of both the architectural project and the interior design of the new Bvlgari Hotel Roma. It will count over 100 rooms, most of them suites, as well as the prestigious “Il Ristorante” curated by Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito and “The Bvlgari Bar,” both located on the top floor to guarantee an unparalleled view of the Eternal City. The luxury hotel will also include a range of facilities, including a high-end spa with an indoor swimming pool and a state-of-the-art gym, offering Bvlgari’s exclusive workshop training method.
Furthermore, Bvlgari Hotel Roma will present a Reading Room housing a collection of precious volumes dedicated to the history of jewellery. Such a library will be open to the guests and to the public, by appointment only.
Standing out on the building’s façade, on top of a splendid fountain, a Latin inscription that reads: “This is the place where the Emperor Augustus’ soul flies through the air.”
